Project Fellow and Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for two research positions for the following two research projects sanctioned for a period of three years in the prescribed salary and allowances as mentioned below.

(1) One Project Fellow in the salary of Rs.8000/- p.m. for a UGC Project entitled “Purification, characterization and expression of arginase isoenzymes in an ureogenic freshwater air-breathing teleost, Heteropneustes fossilis”, An evolutionary approach.

(2) One JRF in the salary of Rs.12, 000/- p.m. + admissible HRA for a DST Project entitled “Studies on ureotelic CPS evolution in vertebrates: immunological and molecular characterization of CPS I and CPS III in an ureogenic freshwater teleost, Heteropneustes fossilis”.

The applicants should have a M. Sc in Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology or related subjects with at least 55% marks, NET/ GATE qualified and age below 28 years (33 years for women & SC/ST candidates). Knowledge of techniques in proteomics, enzymology, immunology, Bioinformatics and molecular Biology to be used in the projects, will be of added advantage. Candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Applications with complete bio-data, attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets (Class 10 onwards) a recent pass port-size photograph and two confidential letters of reference from person associated with the candidate’s academic activities must reach:
