Introduction: Bhoomi Network is organizing a two day Conference on Food, Health and Climate Change titled ‘Be the Change’. The main objectives of the conference are to encourage a ban on processed foods and junk foods in school and college campuses and to document findings on the conference theme and make an appeal to the State and Central Governments regarding these needs.Bhoomi Network is focused on research and dissemination around two clusters –

Programmes/workshops on’ Inner and Outer’ ecology, Understanding Food, etc. Real life’ environment and ecology projects with students and teachers, including Organic Gardening,Saving a lake eco-system, eco toilets, paper recycling etc. Earth Citizenship Seminar for students. Gaia Wilderness Learning Centre, to create opportunities for children to be in touch with natureand experience being part of Mother Nature. Bhoomi Network is bringing out a magazine called ‘GAIA’ – focussed on Earth, Community and Soul.
