Admission To B.Tech., M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Pharm., B.Sc.(Agri), B.Sc.(Nursing), B.P.T., B.Sc.(MLT) and LL.B. Degree Courses ( 2008-2009)

Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission to the first year of the above professional degree courses for the academic year 2008-2009 and coming under the purview of CENTAC.

Applications along with Information Bulletin for admission can be obtained from The Convenor, CENTAC, PEC Campus, Puducherry 605 014, by sending a request along with two self-addressed slips (neatly typed or hand written), and a crossed DD for:

  1. Rs.315/- (Rs.130/- for SC/ST) for B. Tech. and Biology based courses, and
  2. Rs.165/- (Rs.90/- for SC/ST) for LL.B. Degree Course.

The DD should be drawn in favour of The Convenor, CENTAC, payable at Puducherry. Applications can also be obtained from designated Post Offices in UT of Puducherry on payment of Rs.280/- (Rs.95/- for SC/ST) for B.Tech. & Biology - based courses and Rs.130/- (Rs.55/- for SC/ST) for LL.B. degree course.

Payment by Cheque, Money Orders, and Postal Orders will not be accepted.

Other States / UTs Candidates

  1. Candidates from other States / UTs can seek admission only to B. Tech. Degree course offered by Pondicherry Engineering College; Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Karaikal; B.Pharm., B.Sc.(Nursing), B.P.T. & B.Sc.(MLT) Degree courses offered by Mother Theresa Institute of Health Sciences, Puducherry; LL.B. Degree course offered by Dr.Ambedkar Government Law College, Puducherry.

  2. Candidates from other States/UTs seeking admission to B.Tech. Degree course shall apply only with AIEEE marks.

  3. Candidates from other States/UTs are NOT eligible for applying to MBBS, B.D.S., and B.V.Sc. & A.H., Degree course.

  4. NRI / NRI Sponsored Candidates / Foreign Nationals can seek admission to B.D.S. degree course (5 seats) offered by Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences and to B.V.Sc. & A.H. (5 seats) offered by Rajiv Gandhi College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Puducherry. For further details on admission etc., the candidates shall contact the Director/Dean of the respective colleges.

  5. For LL.B. Course, 6 seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates without any reference to the nativity / residence.
