The foundation of Dr BR Ambedkar University (originally known as Agra University), was laid on the 1st of July, 1927, as a result of hectic efforts of a band of enthusiastic educationists like, Rev. Canon AW Davis, Munshi Narain Prasad Asthana, Dr LP Mathur, Lala Dewan Chand, Rai Bahadur Anand Swaroop and Dr Brajendra Swaroop.

Eligibility:
1.The candidate who have passed / appeared in the intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for admission to the first year of BE course in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
2.Candidates who have a gap of more than 2 years after qualifying examination will not be considered for admission in BE Courses.
