It is advised to read the General Instructions carefully before filling up the Application Form. The last date for submission of duly filled application forms is 26th February 2010 . Registration fee is Rs. 300/-. Fee can be paid through DD or Credit Card Only. DD should be in favour of of CDAC, Noida payable at NOIDA. If payment is made through Credit Card then candidate shall be redirected to Payment Gateway of ICICI Bank by S/W wherein candidate can fill necessary details to complete the registration. Candidate should ensure that the printout of application form along with attested photocopies of certificates/marksheets and DD (if mode of payment is DD) should reach at below mentioned address latest by 26th February 2010. Roll No for exam of all such candidates would be displayed on CDAC, Noida website by 2nd March 2010. Candidates whose names are not in the displayed list should contact the Programme Leader. There will be an Online Entrance Examination in 4 slots on 6th & 7th March 2010 at C-DAC, B-30, Institutional Area, Sector – 62, NOIDA. The test would be of 2 Hrs. duration consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions based on following General Aptitude – 20 Qs, Computer Fundamentals – 40 Qs & Networking Fundamentals – 40 Qs.

Fee Details: Fee for the Course is Rs. 45,000/- payable in two installments (First installment Rs. 25,000/- and Second Rs. 20,000/-) by Demand Draft in favour of CDAC, NOIDA payable at Noida. First installment of fee is to be deposited by the selected candidates at the time of admission i.e. on or before 17th March 2010. The second installment is to be paid on the first working day of the programme i.e. 22nd March 2010. Course fee is non transferable & non-refundable. Fee may be refunded with certain conditions only, which will be declared along-with result of the programme. In case, any selected candidate does not pay first installment of fee by 17th March 2010, their seat will be treated as vacant. Such vacant seats will be allotted to candidates in waiting list. PG Diploma in Management Admission 2010 – Institute of Management Studies – NCR

Introduction: Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a two-years full time Program approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. IMS has been awarded accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) as well as the programme has been accredited equivalent to MBA Degree by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Eligibility: An applicant should have a minimum of three-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 50% marks in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE. Introduction: Provisional admissions to the MDS course of this college are made according to the rules and regulations of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and of the Government and Dental Council of India, as may be applicable, and of this college. Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2010 – Centre for Cultural Resources and Training – New Delhi

Introduction: The object of the scheme is to provide facilities to outstanding young children selected in the age group of 10 to 14 years (as per the cut off eligibility dates), studying either in recognised schools or belonging to families of practising traditional performing artists for developing their talent in various cultural fields such as traditional forms of music, dance, drama as well as painting, sculpture and crafts, laying special emphasis on rare forms, which are in the process of becoming extinct.

Duration: The Scholarship awarded under the scheme will be initially for two years at a time and is renewable after every two years till the completion of the first university degree stage of education or upto the age of 20 years, whichever is earlier, subject to the awardee maintaining good progress. However, if the Half-Yearly Progress Reports are not submitted in time regularly, then the decision regarding discontinuation can be taken any time without prior notice, as and when required. Children not continuing academic education beyond Higher Secondary stage, but wishing to continue their training in the respective cultural fields in which scholarship has been awarded, on full time basis and without undertaking employment etc. shall continue to receive the scholarship till the age of 20 years or the completion of training course, whichever is earlier.Application Procedure: Application for the scholarship should be submitted by the parents / guardians in the prescribed form in one field (subject) only, after getting necessary recommendations from school/ institution and guru/ instructor, where the applicant is studying and receiving training respectively, directly to the CCRT, New Delhi by the specified date. Duly completed applications from children belonging to the families practising traditional arts will be obtained through renowned Gurus/Institutions by the CCRT directly.

Selection Procedure: For the shortlisting of candidates to be called for Interview/Test, the CCRT will constitute a Central Selection Committee, whose decision shall be final. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by post only about the dates, timings and venue of the Interview/Test which may be conducted at Regional level during the months of May-July 2010.

Scholarship Value: The value of scholarship will be Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only )per month for those children who undergo their specialised training at the station where they are pursuing their academic studies at the time of the award upto the completion of first university degree stage of education. However, where the child is required to shift to a new station permanently for purpose of his/her specialised training and pursue his / her academic studies also on that station, only then the value of scholarship may be increased to Rs. 400/-(Rupees Four Hundred Only ) per month.

ii) The actual fee paid for the specialised training to the Institution or to the guru shall be reimbursed to the scholarship holder in addition to the value of scholarship indicated under (i) above, subject to a ceiling of Rs.3600/- (Rupees Three Thousand Six Hundred only) per year.

All payments of scholarship shall be made to the parent/guardian of scholarship holders, who shall be responsible to pay the approved tuition fee to the Guru/Instructor and take a duly stamped receipt from him/her.

Introduction: The objective of the support is to generate knowledge to promote the overall objective of the Danish development assistance to reduce poverty. Grants will be awarded to projects generating new knowledge relevant to Denmark’s development assistance and contribute to solving the problems of developing countries. It is further important that the research contributes to the enhancement of the research capacity within developing countries, and that it is driven by the countries’ own demands and strategies.

Eligibility: Ph.D and Postdoc applicants.

How to Apply:
1. Grants under theme 1 and 2 will only be awarded to research programmes with developing countries below the GNI threshold set by the World Bank (USD 2.570 per capita 2008) and will primarily be awarded towards research in Danish programme countries.

2. Grants under theme 3 can also be awarded to non-programme countries but only to countries where Denmark supports other types of development activities.

3. The main applicant researcher (except for individual PhD applicants, see below) must at the time of submitting the application hold a PhD or equivalent qualification. Applications for individual PhD projects must have completed a Masters degree at the time of submitting
the application.
Application Criteria: In assessing the applications, importance will be on the factors in the application requirements as described in guide to applicants. The FFU applies the 3 criteria used by the Danish Council for Strategic Research – the relevance of the research, the quality of research and the potential effect of the research. The three criteria are more specified in the application guide.

Deadlines: Deadline for larger strategic prequalified projects will be Friday 19 March 2010 at 12.00 noon.
Deadline for individual PhD and postdoc applications will be Friday 12 February 2010 at 12.00 noon.
