International Global Wordnet Conference – Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai
Introduction: The Global Wordnet Association is pleased to announce The 5th International Conference of the Global WordNet Association (GWC-2010). It is also the 10th anniversary of the Global WordNet Association. The GWC-2010 will be held in Mumbai, India between 31st Jan. – 4th Feb., 2010. The organising institution of the conference is the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. The series of Global WordNet Conferences are designed to provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest research results and scientific achievements with regard to WordNet initiatives and related theoretical work.
Date & Venue: The Global Wordnet Association is pleased to announce the Fifth International Conference of the Global WordNet Association (GWC-2010). The conference will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India, January, 2010.
Abstract Submission: Submissions will have to state the preferred format. Acceptance may be subject to changes in the format or length of the presentation. (E.g., a long paper submission may be accepted as a short paper). Final papers should be submitted in electronic form (Word or TeX).
1. Long papers should contain approximately 4,000 words (~ 8 pages).
2. Demonstration papers must be at most 5 pages text (2,500 words long) and can have additional 3 pages screen dumps or images.
3. Short papers and project descriptions should be approximately 2,500 words long (~ 5 pages).
Registration Fee: The registration fee will be accepted in demand drafts and through electronic transfer. We do not have facility for online credit card based payment as yet. The registration fee is as follows:
South Asian Countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka)
1. Industry Professionals: 10000 INR (or equivalent €/$)
2. Faculty members: 7000 INR (or equivalent €/$)
3. Students: 2500 INR (or equivalent €/$)
Others countries: Non-students: € 250 / USD 375 – Students: € 125 / USD 190
