Entrepreneurship Orientation to Youth
Introduction:
Some of the conspicuous trends of the modern age, as we all talk about, are – ‘growing intolerance among youth’, ‘increasing conflicts between parents and their adolescent children’ and ‘unreasonable aspirations of youth’. While we understand the circumstances, we do little address them, yet continue to insist that the youth is the hope of the future. As parents and aware nationals, we need to facilitate their development in the right direction so that they grow, not just in terms of degrees that adorn their resume but also in terms of skills that are value based. Presence of some values, such as; ‘persistence’, ‘perseverance’, ‘efficiency-orientation’, ‘problem solving attitude’ and ‘initiative taking’, groom the youth to achieve their goals with the right attitude and skill base.
Eligibility:
Higher secondary and college going youths in the age group of 16-22 years can apply.
How to apply:
The application form should be accompanied by two passport size photographs and a Pay Order / Demand Draft of Rs. 15, 000/- drawn in favour of EDI, Ahmedabad, payable at Ahmedabad.
