Eligibility Criteria:
Post-graduate students in subjects such as History, International Relations and Political Science.With a view to promoting skills for analyzing security related issues, the IPCS has started an internship program. Young budding scholars pursuing post graduate studies in Political Science, History, International Studies and related social sciences and desiring to make to a career in research and analyses may wish to avail of this opportunity.
Students may apply either for a paid internship (stipend: Rs. 5000 per month) or an unpaid internship. Paid interns are expected to write a research paper on a contemporary issue affecting security in South Asia during the course of the internship, and must forward an outline of the intended research to officemail@ipcs.org while applying . Unpaid interns are expected to write a minimum of two 800-word articles on relevant issues.
