International Post Graduate Diploma in Life Insurance Admission 2009 – Institute of Insurance and Risk Management
About IIRM: The Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) is an international education and research organization. The Institute was set up jointly by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) of India and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, in 2002 for promotion of International Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Insurance / Risk Management(Regular and Distance learning) . International School of Actuarial Sciences (ISAS) opened on 6th August 2007 leading to a Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Sciences.
Duration : All the three courses are of one year duration under two semesters full time system. Programmes commence on third Monday of July and end on fourth Friday of March, every year
Eligibility: Graduates of any discipline including engineers /MBA from any recognized University (with a minimum of 50% marks) or candidates with professional qualification like CA, ICWAI, CS etc are also eligible to apply. Those having PG Qualification with 50% or more marks will be considered even if such candidates secure less then 50% in graduation. Candidates appearing for the final year examinations can also apply for provisional admission.
Age: Below 30 years as on 1-7-2010
Selection procedure: Personal Interview.
Course Fee: Rs.2, 10,000/- for entire course.
Application Procedure: Applications can be obtained from the Institute against payment of Rs 200/- payable by demand draft from any scheduled bank favoring I1RM, payable at Hyderabad. Applications can also be downloaded from the Institute’s website and sent to the Institute along with a DD for Rs.200/-. Defective applications without registration fees will not be considered.
