All India Online Technical Paper Contest 2010 at NetApp TeXhibit
About NetApp TeXhibit : NetApp TeXhibit is a great platform for young minds to discover and challenge their innovative technical ideas and creative potential. TeXhibit aims to establish a strong foundation for creating a common place for science and engineering students all over India to meet and compete against each other and unleash the power of innovation that can transform the future of technology.
After its phenomenal success in 2009, NetApp TeXhibit is back this year, with an ensemble of nerve racking topics from the storage and data management domain, to test the technical intellect and creative wit of Final and Pre-Final year engineering students across the country. Participants will progress through some tough stages in the contest, while facing intense competition and tough eliminations, ending in the Finale of TeXhibit, when the ultimate champions of NetApp TeXhibit will be identified.
Topics :
I. Achieving security in the cloud infrastructure
II. Emerging Data Centre Architecture
III. Algorithms/schemes/modeling for optimization of the network resources (could be internet bandwidth and/ or storage)
IV. Multi-core architecture and its implications to software
General Guidelines :
* You must be registered with www.campus-connect.com/netapptexhibit for participating in TeXhibit All India Online Technical Paper Contest.
* Each participant is eligible to submit only one entry.
* Participants must choose any one of the given topics.
* TeXhibit All India Online Technical Paper Contest is an individual event and will accept only individual entries. Participants cannot participate in teams.
* All shortlisted participants will be showcased on the TeXhibit website.
* Final Technical Paper must be submitted in .PDF format only.
* Decision of the Judging Panel will be considered as final in each stage of the competition.
* All submissions will be judged based on their technical merit and their relevance to the chosen topic.
* All the Abstracts and Technical Papers, including text, graphics, and images submitted for TeXhibit will be considered as Intellectual Property of NetApp and CareerNet or its licensors.
Guidelines for Abstract Submission: After making your choice from the list of TeXhibit topics, you are required to submit an Abstract. The Abstract must detail on the following pointers –
* The scope of work
* Methodology proposed
* Results and Interpretations
* Benefits that entail in the long run

16th July 2010 – Last date for Registration and Abstract Submission
26th July 2010 – Announcement of Shortlisted Participants
23th Aug 2010 – Last date for Technical Paper Submission
1st Sep 2010 – Announcement of TeXhibit Winners
