Introduction: Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Software Design & Development is a six months (24 weeks) full time programme comprising of core and specialization modules with one major project. The syllabus of the course has been focused to cover practical engineering applications, presenting the theory behind applications and implementation. The programme prepares skilled Software professionals through classroom lectures and practical training, for design and development of software in latest technology. The Core module subjects cover the fundamentals & give a base for better understanding of the specialized modules. The Specialization subjects are the upcoming technology in today’s IT industry.
Eligibility: M.E / M.Tech / B.E. / B. Tech(CS, IT, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical) / MCA / MCM (with B.Sc) / B.Sc (Engg.) / AMIE.M.Sc.(CS, IT, Instrumentation, Electronics, Physics) / MBA (IT, Systems). Students who have appeared for final year Examinations are eligible for this course.
Application Procedure & Entrance Examination:
Registration for the course would be done ONLINE. It is advised to read the General Instructions carefully before filling up the Application Form. The last date for submission of duly filled application forms is 8th Jan 2010 at address mentioned below. Registration Fee is Rs. 300/-. Fee can be paid through DD or Credit Card only. DD should be in favour of CDAC, Noida payable at NOIDA. If payment is made through Credit Card then candidate shall be redirected to Payment Gateway of ICICI Bank by S/W wherein candidate can fill necessary details to complete the registration. Candidate should ensure that the printout of application form along with attested photocopies of certificates/ mark sheets and DD (if mode of payment is DD) should reach at below mentioned address latest by 8th Jan 2010. Roll No for exam of all such candidates would be displayed on CDAC, Noida website by 12th Jan 2010. Candidates whose names are not in the displayed list should contact the Programme Leader. There will be an Online Entrance Examination in 4 slots on 16th & 17th Jan 2010 at C-DAC, B-30, Institutional Area, Sector – 62, NOIDA. The test would be of 2 hrs duration consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions based on following topics:
General Aptitude (30Qs), “C” Programming Language (20Qs), Database Fundamentals (20Qs) and Operating System(30Qs).
Fees Details:
Fee for the Course is Rs. 45,000/- payable in two installments (First installment Rs. 25,000/- and Second Rs. 20,000/-) by Demand Draft in favour of CDAC, NOIDA payable at Noida. First installment of fee is to be deposited by the selected candidates at the time of admission i.e. on or before 27th Jan 2010. The second installment is to be paid on the first working day of the programme i.e. 1st Feb 2010. Course Fee is Non-transferable & Non-refundable. Fee may be refunded with certain conditions only, which will be declared along-with result of the programme. In case, any selected candidate does not pay first installment of fee by 27th Jan 2010, his seat will be treated as vacant. Such vacant seats will be allotted to candidates in waiting list. Wait listed candidates may contact CDAC, NOIDA at the venue given below on 29th Jan 2010 for allotment of seats on merit basis.
