Introduction:
Punjab Technical University is providing admission into 1st year of B.Tech, B.Pharma courses.The colleges which provide these courses are affiliated to following Universities:
Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar
Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhina
Guru Nanak University Amritsar
Punjab , University Patiala
Eligibility:
For Engineering Course:
Candidate must have cleared 10+2 level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Those candidates who have passed diploma in engineering can also apply for this program.
For Pharmacy course:
Candidate must have cleared 12th class from reputed institute with Physics and chemistry as the compulsory subjects
Those candidates who have diploma in Pharmacy can also apply for degree in pharmacy.
Candidate must have cleared all his degree with at least 50% aggregate.
Examination Details:
Punjab CET Examination will be held: May-June, 009.
Examination will consist of 3 parts:
Physics
Mathematics
Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer science.
Each part will contain 60 questions(multiple choice questions) each carrying 1 mark

Commencement of sale of application form: First week of May, 2009.
Last date of submission of completed forms: Last week of May, 2009.
Date of Entrance exam: First week of June, 2009.
