Master of Business Administration (MBA) Admission 2009 – Symbiosis Institute of Business Management – Pune
Introduction: SIBM, offers a two years MBA programme for residential students, Two and a half years Executive MBA progamme, One year Post Graduate Diploma programmes for the working professional and customised Executive Post Graduate Diploma programmes for the corporates. These programmes equip the students to handle the day-to-day business situations and perform outstandingly in the corporate world by imparting the requisite skill sets and adding value to the student.
Eligibility: A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part time or correspondence course are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.
Intake: 180
Duration: 2 years full time.
Reservation within intake:
• 15% and 7.5% of seats reserved for SC/ST candidates respectively
• 3% seats reserved for “Differently Abled” candidates (blind, hearing impaired (Deaf/dumb) mentally retarded or those with orthopaedic disorders). The minimum degree of disability should be 40% in order to be eligible under this category.
• 15% seats reserved for Management seats – applicant need to comply with all the eligibility norms and apply separately only after the entire process is complete. Appearing for SNAP test and filling of SIBM form is mandatory.
Reservation above intake:
• Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats – children of migrants from J&K valley.
• 15% seats for International students.
Fees Details:
Total fees – Rs. 3.5 lacs p.a. (total fees not including transportation)
Management Quota twice the total fees – per annum
Pre induction course fees as Rs. 25000/- (non-refundable)
Total hostel fees including deposit Rs. 1,00,000/- p.a
Selection Procedure : The selection of the students shall be on the basis of SNAP Test + Group Task + Personal Interview.

How To Apply: Registering for SNAP as well as individual institute is mandatory. Register online with SNAP by filling in the form and paying the requisite fees (i.e for the common admission brochure as well as the SNAP examination) of Rs. 1500 /- through Axis Bank. You can also register for SIBM, Pune on SNAP website. Once you receive your SNAP ID please use the same to register for SIBM, Pune. Go to Register online link and use the online process for registration by paying Rs. 1000/- through credit card / Cash / DD in favour of Director, SIBM Pune payable at Pune through / at any Axis Bank Branch.
