Zest 10-Annual Sports Festival – Pune
Introduction: Students from COEP have a great legacy of excelling in both academics, sports and have won laurels and accolades to their alma mater in the field of sports. The main objective behind ZEST was to have an indigenous blend of talent, skill, endurance and to give a platform for the other students also to excel and showcase their talent. These 7 years have seen immensely enthusiastic participation, growing interest, new events, high quality competitive sportsmanship, incorporation of novel ideas and substantial prize money.
Aim: They aim to make it bigger, competitive and more intense. ZEST’ 10 aims to increase the participation to over 20 different states, embellishing it as the India’s biggest Inter Engineering sports event. Along with addition of new events and increased participation, ZEST’ 10 aims at giving more benefits & recognition to its participants and more specific quality exposure to the sponsors.
Registration: Registrations for Zest ’10 will start from 15th December 2009. Sports Secretary / Captains must register their teams on or before 10th January 2010. Registrations can be done as follows:

For entries by post, D.D. must be drawn in favor of “COEP ZEST”. Colleges will have to post the demand drafts along with completed registration forms to “ZEST ’10, Gymkhana Office, College of Engineering, Wellesly Road, Shivajinagar, Pune – 411005.” Confirmation will be done on first come first serve basis. Confirmation of entry will be sent by e-mail /call to team representative. The number of teams required for an event will be decided by Zest Managing Committee.
Team must compulsorily bring the letter of authorization by the head of the institute mentioning the name of the participants, at the time of registration. Team members should produce their CURRENT YEAR (2009-10) STAMPED I- CARDS at the registration desk at the time of reporting. Failure in doing so will result in disqualification of the player. A common bonafide of the students should be submitted at the time of registration along with your I-Cards.
Year down students of current academic year (2009-10) are not allowed.
The decision of the umpires/arbiters will be final and binding upon all.
Any miscondunct will lead to the disqualification of the team.
The team should report half an hour before the match. Late reporting will lead to disqualification of the team.
