Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test 2008 (Rajasthan PET 2008)

A Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is conducted by Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur for admission to BE/ BTech/ BArch Courses in various Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2) with English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or its equivalent. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible. They should have 17-23 years of age by the date of commencement of admissions.

Admission Procedure: Application form and Information booklet for RPET prospectus can be obtained from the Engineering colleges on payment of requisite amount as notified. Completed applications with the test fee should be reach the Co-ordinator, RPET, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur 302017 by the prescribed date usually on March.

Selection:
Selection is based on merit in R PET conducted in the month of May. The test centers are Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jhunjhnu, Jodhpur, Kota, Sriganganagar and Udaipur. The list of qualified candidates is notified in order of merit and these candidates are called for counselling.

Pattern & Medium of Examination: PET consist of written test in physics, chemistry, maths of 3 hours duration. The question papers in all the subjects consist of multiple choice objective type questions. Medium of examination is English.

SC-48 seats, ST-24 seats, Ex-Servicemen/Defence personnel killed in action/disabled -10 seats, PH-2 seats

Domicile Restrictions: Residents of Rajasthan with certain exemptions.
