DEBESH- KAMAL SCHOLARSHIP
Introduction:
The Debesh-Kamal scholarships are awarded by the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata. They are awarded to Indian students who wish to pursue higher studies or research abroad. The scholarship is for a maximum period of 1 year and the amount is approximately rupees 1 lakh. The amount may not be sufficient to cover all costs for study abroad and supplementary funding should be secured.
Eligibility:
Candidates, preferably below 30 with a uniformly good academic record and first class in Honours or Master’s degree of a recognized university, having been admitted to a course of study at a major university abroad may apply.
How to apply:
Applicaton can be obtained from the Secretary , by sending a self-addressed envelope of 10 X 4.5 cm with stamp of Rs.5.00
