Introduction:

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is an autonomous institution of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Biospectrum ranks RGCB among India’s top 3 Biotechnology schools after recent surveys. RGCB has major research programs in Disease Biology & Molecular Medicine as well as Plant Biotechnology & Discovery. 

Eligibility:

Applications are invited from postgraduates in Life Sciences,Chemical Sciences,Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences and MBBS graduates for RGCB’s PhD program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala. Applicants must have a consistently first class academic track record (no less than 60% aggregates) and a valid research fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT or other recognized funding agencies. Candidates without valid fellowships need not apply.
