Important Dates:
Deadline for submission of Applications: July 15, 2008
Dates for Selection Test: End August to early September
Selection Interview: Early November

Eligibility Criteria:
Indian Nationals born between 1990 and 1992, who have completed Standard 10 in the year 2008 with outstanding track record (at least an average of 85%) with English as First language in Standard 10 State/National examinations.

Singapore Airlines is offering scholarships for a 2-year pre-University course at selected Junior Colleges in Singapore, leading to the Singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced) Level or equivalent, an international qualification widely recognised in many countries. The SIA Youth Scholarship is tenable for 2 years. Studies will commence in February 2009 for successful candidates. Students who perform well in the GCE ‘A’ Level (or equivalent) Examination may apply for the undergraduate scholarships offered by the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University or the Singapore Management University.

Value of Award:

  • Exemption from school and examination fees (excluding miscellaneous fees) .
  • Annual allowance of S$2,400.
  • Hostel Accommodation.
  • Settling-in allowance of S$500 (once only).
  • One return economy class air passage at the start and end of the scholarship term Subsidised medical benefits.

- Curriculum Vitae (1 page Only)
- Certified copy of Year 9 and 10 examination results.
- Achievements and Awards won and participation in extra-curricular activities in Year 9 and 10.
