Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Admission 2009 – Kingston Engineering College – TamilNadu
Introduction: The courses offered are directly relevant to the engineering, technology and market scenario. The college provides a conductive and stimulating environment, which will lead to academic excellence, character formation and development of individual talents and abilities. The college aims at developing as a center of excellence in engineering education, both at the basic and advanced levels. The college has initially identified the emerging areas of Engineering, Technology and Management. In tune with this, the college is offering the following courses.
Eligibility: A Pass in H.Sc. (Academic Stream with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) (OR) A Pass in H.Sc (Vocational Stream with any one of the Vocational courses listed) (OR). A Pass in Diploma Examination in any one of the engineering disciplines (or) Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu. Candidates belonging to communities other than SC /ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than two appearances.
Duration: 4 Years
Selection Procedure: The Students who have passed the qualifying examinations of University / Board other than Madras / Madurai / Annamalai / Bharathiar / Bharathidasan University should obtain the Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the Registrar, afer being admitted in KEC. If the qualification is for any reason not recognized or approved by Anna University Chennai or by The Directorate of Technical Education the candidate will have to discontinue the course.
