Introduction: Warwick has an excellent international reputation for research and education in chemistry. Our staff win many national and international awards for science and innovation. We are firmly ranked among the top research departments in the UK (RAE2008).  More on your research degree at Warwick Chemistry can be found here. The Chemistry Department boasts some of the best laboratories and instrumentation in the UK with continious heavy investment and expansion in equipment, facilities and people. We typically take on 50-60 new M.Sc and PhD students each year across our graduate programmes.

Graduate courses:
Research Degrees in Chemistry: The Department welcomes applications from excellent candidates to carry out research leading to the award of PhD and MSc degrees. MSc courses are 1 year in duration whilst PhD degrees are of between 3-4 years duration depending on the source of funding.

Taught Masters: Information about our current MSc in Instrumental and Analytical Methods in Biological and Environmental Chemistry (IAMBEC) are here.  We will offer an exciting new interdisciplinary taught MSc in Analytical Science starting october 2010. More info soon.
Interdisciplinary PhDs: Warwick Chemistry participates actively in the MOAC (Molecular Organisation and Assembly in Cells) and Doctoral Training Centres.

Fee Details: Academic fees cover the cost of tuition, examinations and registration, and contribute to the cost of some student amenities however general living costs are not included and should also be considered.

Tuition fees are payable for each year of your course at the start of the academic year, or at the start of your course, if later. Fees will normally rise for each year of your course, they do not stay the same as the year in which you started.
